Overview

The pediatric oncology team has extensive experience in the treatment of children with cancer and cooperates with other specialties in the center including surgeons, radiologists, and radiation oncologists, among others. The department also provides a range of supportive services including pain management, play therapy, and psychological support.

Scope of services:

Inpatient Services We receive children and adolescents up to the age of 18. We are equipped with: 50 inpatient beds, 3 of which are equipped with micro-filters to remove small air particles that may carry germs to patients who have received intensive treatment Playroom 12 privates, fully equipped intensive care unit rooms Palliative care unit including 4 beds run by specialized palliative care team Pain Management Program: including pain team for pain management in children with cancer

Chemotherapy Day Care Unit · The outpatient day care unit can accommodate 20 patients receiving long infusions for a duration of one to 10 hours. Subject to the physician’s discretion, it is possible for some patients to receive chemotherapy treatment at home.

Outpatient Clinics The pediatric outpatient clinics include: 1- New cases clinic 2- Follow up Clinic 3- Long term follow-up Clinic 4- Playroom
